Role Overview
As a multifaceted Project Manager, Technical Lead, and Solutions Architect, you will be the driving force behind the design and delivery of critical cybersecurity initiatives. You will bridge the gap between high-level strategy and technical execution, managing multi-disciplinary teams to protect mission-critical infrastructure for our federal and commercial partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Solutions Architecture: Lead the architectural design and integration of security products into enterprise networks, ensuring alignment with NIST standards and federal regulatory requirements.
- Technical Leadership: Serve as the primary technical authority for cybersecurity engineering, overseeing vulnerability management, system hardening, and threat monitoring across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Project Management: Direct the full project lifecycle, from defining scope and budget to managing schedules and delivering high-quality contractual deliverables.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate significant cybersecurity risks and vulnerabilities while ensuring compliance with DOD and HHS directives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary interface for Government Contracting Officers (CO) and senior leadership, providing expert advice on cybersecurity strategy and emerging threats.
- Team Mentorship: Supervise and mentor a team of IT security specialists and contractors, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in a leadership or project management role supporting government contracts.
- Certifications:
- PMP (Project Management Professional) is required.
- CISSP, CISM, or CRISC (DoD 8570 IAM Level III) is required.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of the Risk Management Framework (NIST 800-53), Continuous Diagnostic and Mitigation (CDM) programs, and cloud security architecture.
- Security Clearance: Must hold an active Secret or Top Secret clearance (depending on specific contract requirements).
- U.S. Citizenship: Required for this position.
